How do you specify the required electrical infrastructure for EV hubs & electric HGVs?
In this second webinar on the subject, Andy Vickers from Vattenfall Network Solutions Ltd will walk through the requirements, process and pitfalls of setting up an electric vehicle recharging depot.
Since vehicle types affect battery sizes, and battery sizes, dwell times and transport routes affect charging requirements and the size of chargers required, which in turn affects the electrical infrastructure (transformers and switchgear) required, which needs to be sized in accordance with the incoming power to a specific site - there are a lot of factors to consider.
Using examples from Vattenfall's work in the electric transport sector and experience from existing charging setups, Andy will explain the key areas for logsitics companies and hauliers to consider, offer practical insights, lessons learned and answer questions from the floor.
